The International 310
* 10 Class vessels are designed, built and sailed to a set of rules establishing the original design as a 'box' rule - where the boat must fit within a notional box of specified dimensions.
The first 10 Class vessel to be built will be the all new International 310. All vessels will be built from environmentally sustainable materials, and will be fully recyclable, closing the loop of sustainability.
Since there are no 310 drawings, with one surviving picture showing plumb ends at approximately 36' / 11m, we are basing the 310 design on the C. Raymond Hunt 1936 Lawley 225, with performance and esthetic modifications.

Easily stored, launched, and driven
Displacement under 3,000 lbs / 1360.77 kg, a low and narrow profile with retractable appendages, the International 310 can be easily stored, towed, ramp launched and underway in minutes.
No more mooring, dock, decommissioning and commissioning fees. Keep your vessel at home, and when ready to sail, hop into the SUV, drive down to your local boat ramp, and underway after adjusting foils and positioning the hinged mast.
With an easily driven lightweight hull, the small sailplan will quickly powerup the 310 past hull speed and beyond.
And open self bailing cockpit with wide cambered side decks, and with an optional wingsail, no more deck clutter. A small simple wheel is used to adjust the chamber of the sail for full forward, stop or reverse for optimum control.

Single Spreader Rig
A simple single spreader rig with a mainsail no greater than a 310 sq ft / 28.79 sqm is allowed with no overlapping headsails. Reduced boom length improves at helm sight lines. Lower mainsail tack provides improved air flow, jib slot effect.

Wingsail
Under class rules a soft unstayed Wingsail limited to 310 sq ft / 28.75 sqm with no headsails is allowed. Setup times are reduced, sail efficiency is increased, and the need for crew is eliminated.

Optional Spray Shield
With wave piercing forward sections at extreme speeds,, driving spray is diverted with a retractable soft spray shield providing owners guest with additional comfort.

Foiling
With optional foils, the 310 rides over the waves. Due to high speeds protective gear is recommended.
